How Hormonal Changes Affect Mental Health During Perimenopause April 2...
Menomind helps women understand the cognitive, emotional and hormonal changes of menopause & perimenopause through structured assessment and specialist guidance.
Menopause & Perimenopause is a natural transition marked by hormonal shifts that affect sleep quality, emotional stability, and cognitive function. Understanding these changes helps you respond with intention rather than confusion.
Hormonal changes during menopause can influence attention, cognition, and emotional regulation, sometimes revealing or intensifying neurodivergent patterns.

Menopause can bring noticeable changes to cognitive function — from brain fog and difficulty concentrating to memory lapses. Our cognitive assessment is designed to help you understand how hormonal changes are affecting your thinking, attention, and mental clarity.
By establishing a clear cognitive baseline, you and your specialist can track changes over time, distinguish normal transitional shifts from concerns that need attention, and build a care plan that supports your mental sharpness alongside your physical health.

Our menopause and perimenopause support program is a consultation package that includes structured consultations with a doctor and follow-up support for around 8 weeks. Because every woman’s experience is different, care is personalized rather than one-size-fits-all. During the early stages of treatment, especially when starting or adjusting therapy, many women benefit from closer guidance and support. Blood tests, scans (such as ultrasounds), medications, supplements, and pharmacy costs are not included in the program fee.
MenoMind offers expert-led care with doctors experienced in hormone balance, mood, and wellbeing. We consider both hormonal and non-hormonal treatments and create personalized plans based on your symptoms, medical history, and health goals. Our approach also considers brain health, cognitive changes, emotional wellbeing, and physical symptoms, ensuring comprehensive menopause care.
To provide personalized one-to-one care, we do not directly accept insurance. Menopause and hormone optimization services are often not covered by insurance plans. However, we can provide documentation that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Consultation fees are fixed and we do not offer discounts.
Our consultations are designed to allow enough time for personalized care. The initial consultation lasts around 60 minutes, during which your symptoms, medical history, and health concerns are reviewed in detail. Follow-up consultations usually last 30 minutes and focus on reviewing progress and adjusting treatment if needed.
You will receive support during the first 8 weeks after your initial consultation. At the end of this period, a follow-up review is recommended to assess your progress and adjust treatment if needed. Many women then have follow-up consultations every 3 months, particularly when starting or adjusting hormone therapy.
